‘Katyusha’ is scheduled to be screened at the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival in India.

‘Katyusha’ is scheduled to be screened at the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival in India.

Directed by Ali Atshani, the film will vie at the ninth edition of the Indian event.

The comedy juxtaposes a rich spoiled young man with a soldier from a poor district.

Khalil, the soldier, is a pious man known as Khalil Katyusha. He has to spend some days with Arshia, a corny loaded guy. The gap that exists between their social levels and worldviews creates some problems.

“If I want to be successful in my life, I do not have to look at life like you do," a tagline for the flick reads.

Hadi Hejazifar, Ahmad Mehranfar, Mitra Hajjar, Linda Kiani, Mehran Rajabi, Khashayar Rad, Bijan Banafshe-Khah, Arjang Amir-Fazli, Leila Otadi and Qasem Zare are the most notable in the cast.

The movie was among the bestselling titles in the Iranian box office during its public screening period.

The Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival is about creativity, about trying to help people find their voice and its fun.

It furthers the art and craft of storytelling by inspiring and championing the work of writers, filmmakers, and all the artists who use written and visual language to tell a story.
